Verratti at PSG until 2026

Marco Verratti has signed a new two-year contract with French club PSG. According to the new contract, the 30-year-old Italian will play at the club until 2026.

Italian midfielder Verratti joined PSG in 2012 under coach Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian midfielder's contract with the club was supposed to expire this year. But on Wednesday (December 28), the player who won the most titles in the French league renewed his contract until 2026.

In a statement to the press, PSG said that the new contract with the 30-year-old footballer has been confirmed. After joining PSG, he has already played 399 matches for PSG.

Verratti is very happy with the new contract with the French club. After signing the new contract, he said, "I feel proud to extend the contract period. I've had a lot of support from the club and fans here since the beginning and I'm grateful for that. It was already clear to me that my story will be longer in this club.

One of the best midfielders of all time was signed by PSG from Italian club Pescara. After that Verratti became an important player of the team. Despite winning the Verratti Euro Cup for Italy, the Italian has never played in Serie A. Verratti scored three goals in 51 matches for the national team.
